I took part in this project organised by Rollo SCHIM -an art collective in Israel. I was given the title the Void and had 24 hours to come up with an artwork in response. This diptych, graphite and oil bar on paper, 35 x 29 cm (x2), was my contribution. The piece was then given to the next artist in the chain and they had to make their work in response to it. There were 10 artists in all. The project was supported by the Embassy of Israel in the UK.

I've had some great studio visits post the lockdown and I've really appreciated getting feedback on my work. Some new pieces are nearing completion including a new series I've been working called Palm of the Hand paintings that are inspired by Yasunari Kawabata's 'Palm of the Hand Stories' (see images above).
