I'm pleased to have this piece Blue Zones, Polymer and collage on paper, 2021 in Colour/Collage/Poetry, an online exhibition, curated by Rebecca Loweth for the Colour and Poetry Symposium at the Slade directed by Jo Volley.
The symposium celebrates World Pigment Day - a day that was actually created by Jo and Ruth Siddall. For the exhibition click here. I took part in this project organised by Rollo SCHIM -an art collective in Israel. I was given the title the Void and had 24 hours to come up with an artwork in response. This diptych, graphite and oil bar on paper, 35 x 29 cm (x2), was my contribution. The piece was then given to the next artist in the chain and they had to make their work in response to it. There were 10 artists in all. The project was supported by the Embassy of Israel in the UK.
